Wayne B. Gow Of Newfane, NY, husband of Darlene Braun Gow went home to be with the Lord surrounded by his family on Monday June 5, 2017 in Eastern Niagara Hospital Lockport, NY.
He was born in Newfane, NY on August 22, 1940, the son of the late John and Naomi Ray Gow. Wayne served in the U.S. Navy as a Machinist’s Mate 3rd Class from 1957- 1961.
He worked at Simonds Saw and Steel from 1961-1968 then retired from Harrison Radiator in 1999. Wayne loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Father of John Gow, Laura Gow, Darcy (Clarissa) Gow and Tanya Gow. Grandfather of Natalee, Kaylee and Melissa (Tim) Carlyon. Great Grandfather of Jacob Monn. Brother of John (Evelyn) Gow of Newfane, Ray (Claudia) Gow of Florida, Janis (Philip) Toenniessen of Newfane and the late Gary Gow. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. Main St. Newfane, NY on THURSDAY from 2-4 and 7-9PM where a Funeral Service will be held on FRIDAY at 11AM. Burial will be in Corwin Cemetery.
