Philip Warner born June 27, 1957. Passed on June 2, 2017.

Beloved husband of Susan Stoll Warner, cherished son of Dolores Warner and the late Elwin Warner. Proud father of Sarah (Rob Kaczynski) Warner, Rebecca (Benjamin) Wortkoetter, Jacob and Seth Warner. Much loved brother of Robert (Michelle Warner, James (Diann) Warner, Patricia (Mark) Fenzl, Gregory (Maria) Warner. Devoted Grandad of Zachary, Koryn and Kristen Kaczynski, Benjamin, William and Henry Wortkoetter. Brother in law of Mary and Robert Dauphinais. Also survived by fourteen adored nephews and five nieces. Son in law of the late Donald J. and MaryLou Stoll.

Phil was born in Springville, NY. He graduated from Hamburg High School. He then attended Canisius College. He married Susie in 1977. They recently celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary. Very proud member of the United Air Force. Retired from USAF Reserve 914 Tactical Air Wing at Niagara Falls. He was part of numerous rotations and deployments including nuclear alerts in the Cold War Era, many rotations to Panama, Latin America and Germany. Combat missions to Bosnia and three deployments to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was employed at Calspan Corporation for 25 years. He was also employed by Jones-Lang-Lasalle and the Centurian group in property management positions. Phil was a member of the Miller Hose Fire Company for several years where he forged lifelong friendships, he was instrumental in the formation of the Newfane Youth Football and Cheerleading program and loved coaching the young athletes, before that he coached numerous sports teams for his daughter and sons when they were young, also forming lasting friendships. He was a passionate outdoor enthusiast. He loved hunting and fishing with family, friends and dogs. Most recently he took delight in fishing with his grandchildren. He is a faithful member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Faith Community.

Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on SUNDAY from 2 – 6PM. A Mass will be held on MONDAY at 9AM in Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church 4671 Townline Rd. Ransomville, NY 14131.
