Of Tonawanda, entered into rest May 31, 2017, beloved husband of the late Ida (nee Monteleone) Nicosia and Janette (nee Cimino) Nicosia; devoted father of James (Faith) Nicosia, Richard (Darlene) Nicosia, Elaine (Kurt) Nelson and the late Samuel C. Nicosia (late Linda Hopkins); cherished grandfather of James (Kim), Tammy (David), Amy (Billy), Michael (Joelle), Christine (Aaron) and Angelica; fond great- grandfather of D.J., Anthony, Juliana, Avery, Layla and Lylah; dear father-in-law of Nancy Nicosia; loving son of the late Samuel and Mary Nicosia; also survived by relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends may visit the LOMBARDO FUNERAL HOME (Northtowns Chapel), 885 Niagara Falls Blvd., near Eggert/Sheridan Dr., on Sunday from 5-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 1085 Englewood Ave., Kenmore, on Monday morning at 9:30 o’clock. (Please assemble at church.) Entombment Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Nicosia served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
