WELLSVILLE — A 36-year-old Wellsville woman was charged Thursday with driving while impaired by drugs, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance not in original container.
According to New York State Police, Troopers received a report of a woman slumped over the steering wheel of her vehicle on ST-417. Troopers responded and located Shannon L. Dickerson behind the wheel of her vehicle.
Dickerson was determined to be imapaired and in possession of several controlled drugs, some of which were not in an original container. Dickerson did not have a prescription for some of the pills. She was processed at SP Amity and issued tickets returnable to the Town of Wellsville court for June.
