Henry Louis Donehue was born in Memphis TN to Same and Elizabeth Donehue on May 17, 1958. Henry grew up in Memphis where his last schooling was at Manassas High. Henry moved to Buffalo, NY at an early time in his adult life, where he made his home until his passing. He loved to cook, providing meal to his family and close associates.  Henry has a great love for music in which he would serenade the neighborhood. He had such a kind and loving heart with such a generous disposition.  He loved his family and those he considered his friends, unconditionally.

Henry’s greatest joy was watching wrestling and enjoying company while listening to his music.

Henry had been on the battlefield of life for a long time, dealing with renal failure and chronic health issues and being in and out of health facilities, for over 10 years.  In spite of his short-comings, Henry fought his health issues for a long time with a few family members along by his side.

Henry is predeceased by his parents, Sam and Elizabeth Donehue and sister, Dorothy Jean Donehue.

Henry is survived by siblings, consisting of one brother, Larry Charles Donehue (Shelby) of Richmond VA, three sisters, Bette Jean Donehue Ficklin (Larry), Pamela Joyce Donehue of Memphis, TN and Theresa Ann Donehue-Cullens of Springfield, MO. Henry leaves a total of twelve nieces and nephews and a host of grandnieces and nephews.

There are a host of relatives and neighbors he leaves to cherish his memories and a devoted cousin, LaVaughans Holcomb Sr.
