NIAGARA UNIV. — Imagine yourself in a luxury Palm Springs resort or a lavish Las Vegas vacation with eight of your friends. These items, plus many more, will be available for bidding in the “Power Auction” hosted by Niagara University Department of Athletics. Bidding will open in late August for all items, while a few premium items will be released in advance of the auction’s full launch.
The first item up for bid will be four tickets to attend the New York Yankees vs. the Boston Red Sox on June 8, 2017 at Yankee Stadium with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. The Yankees and Red Sox have competed in MLB’s American League (AL) for over 100 seasons and have since developed one of the fiercest rivalries in sports. Take in the game in the Delta Sky360 Suite (4 game tickets) seats located behind home plate. In addition, receive preferred parking pass with the game tickets. All funds raised will be designated for improvements to the Niagara Athletics weight room. The auction will consist of elite-level items such as vacation properties, suites to sporting events, and fan engagement experience. The goal of the auction is to raise $100k with all renovations and equipment purchased benefitting the 330-plus NCAA Division I student-athletes.
