ISCHUA — A 53-year-old Cuba woman was charged Thursday with felony driving while intoxicated following a crash on County Route 24. 
According to New York State Police, Troopers responded to a one-car motor vehicle crash, where they found that Deborah A Mesmer’s vehicle had left the roadway and stuck signs along the road side. Upon interviewing Mesmer, they determined her to be intoxicated. She was taken to SP Olean for processing. Mesmer recorded a .31 percent blood alcohol content. She was charged with felony DWI due to prior offenses within ten years. 
Mesmer was arraigned in the Town of Olean court and released on her own recognizance to reappear in the Town of Olean court later this month.
