JAMESTOWN — A 29-year-old Randolph man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a Friday traffic stop on Route 430.

According to New York State Police James Brandow was pulled over for a traffic violation and while speaking to Brandow, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle.  A search of Brandow’s vehicle revealed a bag of marijuana and a marijuana cigarette. Brandow was also found to be driving on a suspended license.

He was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Ellicott Court and was then turned over to the Jamestown Police Department, as he was wanted by their agency on a warrant for unlicensed driving.
