ROCHESTER — Rochester Institute of Technology’s Department of Criminal Justice and Center for Public Safety Initiatives hosted the Senior Luncheon and Recognition Celebration on Friday. The students honored include:
- Emily Welch of Henrietta, who received the Thomas C. Castellano Award, for seniors with outstanding academic success.
- Shakierah Smith of Rochester, who received the Richard B. Lewis Award, for juniors with outstanding academic success.
- Michael Surtel of Pittsford, who received the Richard B. Lewis Award, for juniors with outstanding academic success.
- Jessica Burt of Hamlin, who received the Goffman Award, for a first-year student leader in academic and community activities.
- Nathaniel Le Mahieu of Rochester, who received the Center for Public Safety Initiatives’ Excellence in Research Award.
- Na Liu of Rochester, who received the Center for Public Safety Initiatives’ Excellence in Research Award.
- Chaquan Smith of Rochester, who received the Center for Public Safety Initiatives’ Excellence in Research Award.
