ITHACA — Over 20 Ithaca College students were inducted into the Beta Alpha Psi honor society. Beta Alpha Psi is an international honor society made up of elite accounting, finance and business information students and professionals.

The Mu Alpha chapter of Beta Alpha Psi at Ithaca College invites local Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), Big 4 recruiters and other notable alumni to speak, interact and network with its members. The honor society is also focused on working in the community and within the business school, partnering with the Ithaca YMCA, the Ithaca Youth Bureau and operating the Accounting and Finance Tutor Lab located on the first floor of the business school.

Every year, the Mu Alpha chapter organizes a “Meet the Firms” trip to New York City, where students are able to network with the top firms and alumni that recruit Ithaca College graduates.

  • Benjamin Trageser of Rochester was inducted.
  • Casey Upadhyaya of Webster was inducted.

From day one, Ithaca College prepares students for success through hands-on experience with internships, research and study abroad. Its integrative curriculum builds bridges across disciplines and uniquely blends liberal arts and professional study. Located in New York’s Finger Lakes region, the College is home to 6,100 undergraduate and 460 graduate students.
