CANTON — Madeleine L. Frank of Pittsford was inducted into Sigma Gamma Epsilon, the national honorary society for earth sciences, at St. Lawrence University.
Frank is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in Geology and English. Frank attended Pittsford Sutherland High School.
Sigma Gamma Epsilon was established to recognize scholarship and professionalism in the earth sciences. Its focus is on the scholastic, scientific and professional advancement of its members as well as the extension of relations of friendship and assistance among colleges and universities devoted to the advancement of the earth sciences, including the Eta Xi chapter at St. Lawrence.
