KENNEDY — A 30-year-old Jamestown woman and a 36-year-old Panama man were arrested Monday following an accident investigation by New York State Police.

According to the NYSP report, Troopers responded to a reported accident on I-86 where a vehicle had struck the guard rail and the driver was attempting to leave the scene.

Investigation revealed that Jzon Loverme had been driving on a suspended license and he was subsequently arrested. Methamphetime and drug paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle so Loverme was additionally charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

An unlabeled pill bottle containing Ritalin, a controlled substance for which she could not provide a prescription, was located in the purse of Patricia Raynor, the passenger. She was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container. There was also an active arrest warrant for Raynor for fourth-degree grand larceny, for which she was also arrested at the time.

Raynor and Loverme were processed at SP Jamestown, arraigned in the Town of Poland Court, and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
