ELLICOTTVILLE — A 59-year-old Williamsville man was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on State Route 219.

According to New York State Police, at at approximately 1:55am, Troopers stopp Joseph J. Marasco on West Washington Street for speeding and subsequently determined him to be intoxicated. He was taken to the Machias Troopers’ barracks from processing and found to have a .14 percent blood alcohol content.

Marasco was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Ellicottville in June.
