Where They Rank
• Roach’s time of 8:58.44 in yesterday’s 3K steeplechase is the third best in the MAAC this season. Iona’s Johannes Motschman holds the top-two times.• The Griffs have the fourth fastest 4×800 men’s relay team in the MAAC.
“We closed out the meet with a great team effort on the second day. Many of our runners came back to run a second and third event in the relays to help score valuable team points. As a result, the men had their highest point total and team finish in recent history and the women knocked off Niagara.”
The Griffs will compete in their final weekend of completion next Friday, when they run in both the ECAC/IC4A Championship and the Gator Last Chance Invite.

Head Coach Nate Huckle Postgame Comments
“Cooper had an outstanding meet for us, finishing second in two events and leading the 3200-meter relay to a third-place finish. His school record of 8:58.44 in the steeple chase ranks him in the top 40 in the country and should qualify him for the first round of the NCAA Championships.”
“Siobhan ran an intelligent and tactical race in the 1500, moving up through the field in the last 400 meters to claim fourth overall.”
