ITHACA — In front of a large crowd in Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall on a Saturday night in New York City, Ithaca College music students performed a special concert on the same stage where such famed artists as Yo-Yo Ma, Itzhak Perlman and Joshua Bell have played.

Titled “The Exquisite Hour: MusIC of Love and Rapture,” the April 29 performance featured the Ithaca College Choir, Chamber Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra, including six performers from Western New York. Those performers included:

  • Anna Lugbill of Fairport
  • Corey Dusel of Williamsville
  • Henry Smith of Rochester
  • Katelyn Adams of Hamburg
  • Geoffrey Devereux of Buffalo
  • Nicole Murray of West Seneca

From day one, Ithaca College prepares students for success through hands-on experience with internships, research and study abroad. Its integrative curriculum builds bridges across disciplines and uniquely blends liberal arts and professional study. Located in New York’s Finger Lakes region, the College is home to 6,100 undergraduate and 460 graduate students.
