Winifred Herman, age 95, went to heaven from Florida, Monday May 1, 2017. Born December 14, 1921 in Lockport New York. Winifred is the daughter of Harry and Lillian (Thorne) Snow.
Loving mother of Joanne (Donald) Hadley, Carol (Michael) Sommer and Richard (Elaine) Herman. Cherished Grandmother of: Dennis (Kelly) Sears, Susan (Paul) D’Ambrosio, Diane Sears, Linda (Robert Farbman), Donna (Liam) Clocksin, Steven Kneussle, Mark Herman, and Michael Herman, and eight great grandchildren. Sister to David Snow of Lockport and Nelson Snow (deceased). Winifred was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Herman in 1999.
Winifred worked as a teller for Marine Trust Bank. She was a founding member of Lockport Meals on Wheels, a volunteer at American Mission for Opening Churches, and a member of the Central Baptist Church of Ocala, Florida.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport on Monday, May 8, 2017 from 10 am until 12 pm. Funeral Services will be held immediately following at noon.
Burial will be at Hartland Central Cemetery.
