OXFORD, Ohio — The following local Miami University students were part of a study abroad group during Winter 2017 semester:

  • Michael Parker of Mayville studied in Argentina and Chile.
  • Alexander Korach of Orchard Park studied in Cuba.
  • Brian Ruff of Clarence studied in Australia.
  • Jessica Pembroke of Rochester studied in England.

With 49 percent of Miami undergraduate students studying abroad for credit by the time they graduate, Miami is ranked 1st among public doctoral institutions nationwide for students studying abroad.
Including students on internships, non-credit and Service-Learning programs, international students who study in a third country, and all other overseas programs completed by graduate and undergraduate students, 57 percent of Miami students study abroad.
