JAMESTOWN — A 29-year-old Panama man was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Route 60.

According to New York State Police, Joseph Estus was pulled over for a traffic violation. While speaking to him, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle, which led to a search and arrest for possession of a marijuana cigarette.

Estus was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Ellicott Court and released, to appear in court next month.
