BUFFALO — No matter where Buffalo Bisons fans are in 2017, they will always be close to the excitement, action and fun of Bisons Baseball thanks to the team’s impressive lineup of broadcasting partners.

Today, the Bisons announced a 30-game television schedule on Spectrum Sports in Buffalo as well as a full-season slate of contests on the Bisons Baseball Network, anchored by the flagship station for Bisons Baseball, ESPN 1520 AM.

The radio home of the Toronto Blue Jays, Sportsnet 590 The FAN will broadcast 13 games starting in June, while fans in the Southern Tier can tune in all season long on WGG0 1590 AM in Salamanca and WOEN 1360 AM in Olean.

Fans a little further away from Coca-Cola Field can still stream the audio of all 142 Bisons games on the TuneIn Radio App and on Bisons.com, while a webcast of every International League game can be seen with an MiLB.tv subscription.

TELEVISION:
The slate of 30 games on Spectrum Sports will begin on May 2 against the Rochester Red Wings (6 p.m.). Bisons games on the network will air live on channel 323 in Buffalo. Highlights of the schedule include 17 contests against Thruway Series rivals Rochester and Syracuse as well as matchups against the Triple-A affiliates of the Boston Red Sox (Pawtucket), Cleveland Indians (Columbus), Detroit Tigers (Toledo), Philadelphia Phillies (Lehigh Valley) and the Pittsburgh Pirates (Indianapolis).

RADIO:
The Bisons and Entercom Broadcasting have agreed to a three-year extension of their broadcasting partnership, with 2017 serving as ESPN 1520 AM’s 10th consecutive season as the flagship station for the Bisons Baseball Network. All 142 Bisons games will air on the station’s strong 50,000-watt signal and include a 30-minute pre-game show and a postgame wrap-up show with highlights and player interviews. ESPN 1520 AM will also air the 2017 Triple-A All-Star Game (July 12) and the 2017 Gildan Triple-A National Championship (September 19).

For the fifth consecutive season, baseball fans in Toronto and throughout the great province of Ontario can follow future of their favorite team by tuning into the Exclusive Home of Everything Blue Jays, Sportsnet 590 The FAN. A schedule of 13 Bisons games on the station begins with the Bisons Star Wars night on Saturday, June 3.

In the Southern Tier, WGG0 1590 AM in Salamanca and WOEN 1360 AM in Olean will carry the live action of all 142 Bisons games in 2017.

Fans can take Bisons baseball wherever they go by downloading the TuneIn Radio App, which is free in the iTunes and Google Play stores. Just search ‘Buffalo Bisons’ to find the team’s channel. Fans can also access a free audio stream by visiting Bisons.com on their computers or mobile devices, or by downloading Minor League Baseball’s free First Pitch App.

With MiLB.tv, fans can watch the live broadcast of over 5,500 minor league games, including every Bisons game home and road, for a subscription fee of just $39.99 with the promo code BISONS. These broadcasts can be accessed on Bisons.com as well as with the First Pitch App for mobile devices.

BROADCAST TEAM:
The team that will bring you all the action of your favorite team is led by ‘The Voice of the Bisons,’ Ben Wagner. Entering his 11th year behind the mic, Ben will be joined by Buffalo Baseball Hall of Famer, Duke McGuire, WGR Sportsradio 550’s Pat Malacaro and Todd Callen. For road games watched on television and through an MiLB.tv subscription, the announcing duties will be handled by the opposing teams’ broadcasters.
