HAMBURG — The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce is once again excited to open the Hamburg Farmers’ Market, this time for its 40th Season.

Staying true to tradition, the market opens the first weekend in May, this year on May 6 from 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Village of Hamburg. A ribbon cutting will commence at 11 a.m. on and all are invited to join in the picture and be part of welcoming the Market into its 40th season. The Joe’s Garage Band, sponsored by Joe’s Auto Service will be playing your favorite songs during this time and we’ll have balloons for the kids and other market surprises!

This coming year the market offers the established favorites with a few new vendors; adding variety to the local products offered. Live music is organized by Imagine Hamburg with local musicians who all volunteer their time to play. All the vendors at the market have farms or working venues within 40 miles of Hamburg. Nickel City Designs is proud to be part of the market experience, is the Major Sponsor this season, and designed a new anniversary logo and Market staff shirts. Live cooking demos by local chefs will also be part of the market this season.

The Hamburg Farmers’ Market is held in the Village Municipal Parking Lot off Main (Rt. 62) and Buffalo Streets in the heart of the Village of Hamburg. It is open through the last weekend in October (Oct 28th) from 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., rain or shine.
