APPLETON — The next Victorian Tea at Marjim Manor, slated for 2 p.m. May 7 will feature a four-course tea with scone, a salad, a variety of sandwiches and dessert. Plus a little history.
The winery will debut a new presentation, the True Story of Appleton Hall. Using a variety of props Margo Sue Bittner will reveal the facts and authentic resources she has uncovered. Seating is limited for the $30-per-person tea. Reservations are due by May 2.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in traditional tea attire, including hats, but it is not required. Reservations can be made by calling the winery at 716-778-7001 or online at www.MarjimManor.com.
