The Rochester Red Wings rallied for four runs over the final two innings to take the lead over the Gwinnett Braves in the ninth, but a two-run single by Lane Adams gave the Braves a 7-6 victory over Rochester Wednesday evening at Coolray Field.

The Red Wings had just two runs through seven innings before a pair of RBI singles in the 8th doubled their run total to 4, pulling them within one run of the Braves.

In the ninth, a two-run triple by David Hernandez  into the right-field corner gave Rochester the lead at 6-5. But the Braves scored a pair of their own in the bottom of the ninth inning to secure the win.
