YORKSHIRE — A 45-year-old Sardinia woman was charged early this morning with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Savage Road.
According to New York State Police, Karn A. Sorensen was stopped for speeding and subsequently determined to be intoxicated. She was taken to the Machias Troopers’ barracks and found to have .13 percent blood alcohol content.
Sorensen was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Yorkshire later this month.
