Carol J. Fadel of Lewiston, NY, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017, in Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital.   She was born in Niagara Falls, NY,  on August 24, 1959, the daughter of the late Marilyn A. (Edward) [Faraday] Kumm and Bruce Roberts.  

Carol grew up in North Tonawanda, NY, where she attended local schools. She was a house keeper for various families in the area. Carol was a supportive member of St. George’s Church, the Ladies Group and served as President of the Cedars Club auxiliary.

She loved spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters and will be remembered as a warm and loving person.

Carol  is survived by her husband  of 37 years Saleem  G. “Sam” Fadel, a son Michael J.  Fadel, a daughter Juliet A. (Richard) Sczepczenski, two granddaughters Justine and Leanne, four brothers Bruce (Susan), Richard, James, Douglas (Terri) Roberts, two sisters Joanne (Gary Ackerman) Rickard and Debra (John) Pike, also many nieces and nephews.    She was the sister of the late Steven Roberts and Patricia Rakowski.

Her family will be present on Thursday from 2-6 PM  at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1073 Saunders Settlement Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where a Trisagion Service will be held at 5:00 PM.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church,  with the Rev. Paul Solberg officiating.

Memorials may be made in her name to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church.

Interment at  White Chapel Memorial Park,  Amherst, NY.
