LATHAM — Major General Anthony P. German, the Adjutant General for the State of New York, announces the promotion of 21 local members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

  • Jeffrey Millan from Jamestown and assigned to the 152nd Engineer Support Company received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • Daryl Degroff from Perry and assigned to the 222nd Military Police Company received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.
  • Christian Leenhouts from Lewiston and assigned to the C Troop, 2-101 Cavalry (Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Target Acquisition) received a promotion to the rank of Private.
  • Mikeal Bell from Wilson and assigned to the Company A (Engineer), 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Private First Class.
  • Michael Day from Tonawanda and assigned to the Company A (Engineer), 27th Brigade Special Troops Battalion received a promotion to the rank of Private.
