BUFFALO — Sharing the 2017 SkyRide route and festival at LaSalle Park will be the highlight of an event to launch the bicycling season and the annual bike ride over Buffalo’s iconic Skyway from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday at Flying Bison Brewery.
The launch party will include remarks by Mayor Byron Brown and Justin Booth, Executive Director of GObike Buffalo, the last opportunity to register for SkyRide with early discount, volunteer sign-ups and head-to-head indoor trainer races Campus Wheelworks. A $5 donation covers admission and one drink.
The annual event itself, a tour that includes an incredible, scenic ride over Buffalo’s Skyway that includes a 100-foot elevation at its peak is set for for May 21.
