GENESEO — The Canisius outdoor track program will open its season Sunday morning, taking part in the SUNY Geneseo Early Season Invitational. The event, originally scheduled for Saturday will begin at 10 a.m.
The Griffs will look to continue their success from the indoor season, which saw three school records broken in the team’s final event of the year at the ECAC/IC4A Championships. The Blue and Gold broke school records in the men’s and women’s distance medley relay races, as well as senior Jeff Antolos in the 5k.
The team will be running for the first time in nearly a month with the ECAC/IC4A Championship ending on March 5.
