RANDOLPH — A 57-year-old Olean man was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on I-86.
According to New York State Police, Alan Cornish was pulled over for a traffic violation and while speaking to Cornish, the Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from inside the vehicle.
A search revealed that Cornish was in possession of a wooden container with marijuana residue and he was placed under arrest. Cornish was issued tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Randolph Court next month to answer the charge.
