LEWISTON — The New York Power Authority will hold its annual spring Eggstravaganza event, featuring photos with Bunny, on April 8, at its admission-free Power Vista, the visitors center for the Niagara Power Plant, 5777 Lewiston Road.

Activities will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include free photos with Bunny until 2 p.m., a jelly bean counting contest, scavenger egg hunt, crafts with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, face painting, and a spring hay ride (weather permitting) around the Niagara Power Vista traffic circle from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Visitors can also enjoy the many interactive exhibits at the Power Vista, including various simulations: a ride across the state’s transmission lines, building a grid system on the multi-touch, one-of-a-kind transmission grid table, the manipulating of power across the state based on weather conditions, and the operation of the Niagara power plant.
