ROCHESTER — Take a Back Road and come out to Frontier Field on July 22 as country music star Rodney Atkins takes the stage at Frontier Field following the 6:05 p.m. game against the Toledo Mud Hens. No additional ticket (besides a game ticket) is required to attend the concert.

Tickets are on sale now at RedWingsBaseball.com. Single-game ticket prices remain unchanged from last season: Premium $12 ($13 day of game), Upper Box $10.50 ($11.50 day of game) and Reserved $8 ($9 day of game).

Other game highlights on July 22 include Military Appreciation Night with a post-game fireworks show courtesy of ESL Federal Credit Union. The Wings will wear special military-themed jerseys courtesy of Basch & Nickerson LLP which will be auctioned off to benefit the Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.

The 2006 Academy of Country Music Top New Male Vocalist has put together six Billboard chart-toppers including “If You’re Going Through Hell,” “Watching You,” “These Are My People,” “It’s America,” “Cleaning This Gun” and “Take A Back Road.” “Farmer’s Daughter” was also a top five Billboard hit in 2010.

“If You’re Going Through Hell” and “Watching You” each ranked as the top country song of 2006 and 2007, respectively, according to Billboard Year-End. Atkins has received six nominations from the Academy of Country Music and two from the Country Music Association in his career.

Rochester opens the 2017 campaign on Thursday in Syracuse at 2:05 p.m. The Red Wings host the Chiefs in the first home game on April 14 at 1:35 p.m. All Home Opener tickets come with a 50-degree guarantee. If the temperature at Frontier Field does not read at least 50 degrees at first pitch, each ticket is good for any Wings home game in April or May.
