LOCKPORT — After evacuating three floors of residents from Urban Park Towers late this morning following the threat of a bomb, Lockport Police allowed residents to return early this afternoon when no bomb was found.
Main Street was closed to traffic between Locust and Pine streets during the evacuation, which lasted from approximately 90 minutes beginning at around 11:30 a.m.
Lockport Fire Department and the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the search and investigation.
