Margaret M. Smith Of Newfane, formerly of Niagara Falls wife of the late William Smith entered into rest on Wednesday March 15, 2017 in Newfane, NY. She was born on October 6, 1934, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Hilda Lawrence Higgs.
Margaret enjoyed traveling and was the owner and operator of House of Nine in Fresno, CA, Plum Tree in Wilmington, DE and House of Shoes in Tonawanda, NY.
Mother of Douglas Smith of Niagara Falls, NY. Also survived by 3 grandchildren.
Family and friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC. 2670 Main St. Newfane, NY on TUEDSDAY March 21, 2017 from 7 – 9PM. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
