LOCKPORT — A 29-year-old Wilson woman and a 31-year-old Lockport man are facing drug charges following an early-morning warrant executed on Prospect Street.

According to Niagara County Sheriff JimVoutour, the Niagara County Drug Task Force along with the New York State Police Special Operations Response Team executed a search warrant around 6:37 a.m. at 58 Prospect St, where it was suspected that methamphetamine was being manufactured.

Arrested at the residence was Joshua D.N. Shubbuck and Mary L. Wagner. Both were charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The arrests are based on a six-month long investigation into methamphetamine manufacturing by Shubbuck at the Prospect Street address. The New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team processed the scene due to the volatile nature of the byproducts used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

The investigation is continuing and additional charges may be pending. Shubbock and Wagner are held pending arraignment in the City of Lockport Court.
