BOLIVAR — A 38-year-old Bolivar man was charged Wednesday night with second-degree assault and second-degree menacing following a complaint.

According to New York State Police, Troopers received a complaint Wednesday night of an assault that took place on Saturday into Sunday at Phillips Road. Police say Adrian J. Kuna had a verbal altercation with a 36-year-old male which resulted in Kuna stabbing him.

The victim never sought medical attention despite the wound being substantial. The victim did receive medical treatment before contacting police.

Kuna was arrested and processed at SP Amity, before being on $10,000 bail.
