EVANS — A 46-year-old Derby man was charged Sunday with unlawful possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on Dawn Avenue.
According to New York State Police, James V. DePasquale Jr. was stopped for having an expired inspection sticker and found to be in possession of 7.11 grams of marijuana and a hydrocodone tablet, which police say was hidden inside a fake can of WD-40.
DePasquale was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Evans Court on Friday.
