With Lent right around the corner, a switch is about ready to flip in Western New Yorkers that seemingly require them to eat fish for dinner on Friday. It seems that every restaurant tries their best to make the perfect fish fry, but we all know that some simply excel.
So we’d like to know where you think has the best fry in the area. We’ll take nominations through 11:59 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 25) and hold voting from Sunday (Feb. 26) until 11:59 p.m. March 2. Then we’ll announce the winner on March 3 — the first Friday in Lent. That way everyone will know where to get their fish.
Following the Best Fish Fry award, we’ll turn our attention to Reubens — just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
