Employees of two Wellsville establishements are facing charges following an underage drinking detail performed in Allegany County Thursday by New York State Police and the New York State Liquor Authority.

A total of six retail locations and five bars were checked during the detail.

Thirty-two year old Shaun A. Stahli was charged with prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage to a person under 21 years of age. Troopers say Stahli sold alcohol to a minor while working at the Sunoco A Plus store located at 1 South Main Street in Wellsville.

Twenty-two year old Jordan L. Washburn was also charged with prohibited sale of an alcoholic beverage to a person under 21 years of age. Trooper say Washburn sold alcohol to a minor while working at The Field House located at 2 East Dyke Street in Wellsville.

Both were issued an appearance tickets to appear in the Village of Wellsville Court on Tuesday.

The following establishments were checked and sale was denied to a minor.

  • Short’s Convenience Store at 4235 Bolivar Road in Wellsville
  • Park Plaza Liquors at 14 Park Ave. in Wellsville
  • Hamar’s Pub at 21 North Main St. in Wellsville
  • Better Days Pub and Eatery at 166 North Main St. in Wellsville
  • Alex’s College Spot at 23 North Main St. in Alfred
  • Gentleman Jim’s at 1 Mill St. in Alfred
  • Uni-Mart Convenience Store at 51 North Main St. in Alfred
  • Arrow Mart Convenience Store at 916 Route 244 in Alfred
