BUFFALO — The Mid-American Conference announced on Wednesday morning that the University at Buffalo men’s basketball game at Ohio on Feb. 28 will air nationally on CBS Sports Network.  The tip time has been moved up an hour to accommodate the game, as it will now tip at 6pm.

This will be the second straight nationally televised game for the Bulls on CBS Sports Network as they host Akron on Friday night, Feb. 24 at 8pm.  The Bulls are currently one of the hottest teams in the league having won five straight after a 99-93 win at Central Michigan on Tuesday night.  The Bulls are currently 14-12 on the season and 8-5 in MAC play, tied for second place in the MAC East and overall with the Ohio Bobcats.

Ohio is 16-8 on the season and 8-5 as well following a 79-71 win at Eastern Michigan on Tuesday night.  The Bobcats narrowly beat the Bulls in the first meeting 74-72 as Kenny Kaminski hit the game-winner with 0.8 seconds left in the third conference game for each team.

The game at Ohio is Buffalo’s final regular season road game as UB plays four of the last five at home, including the next three.  The first home game is on Saturday afternoon when the Bulls host Miami (OH) at 3:30 pm.  It is part of a doubleheader with the UB women’s basketball team and the Bulls will also be celebrating their 100 seasons of men’s basketball.
