Helen Payne Smith Of Lockport, wife of Merle J. Smith and the late Melvin Payne entered into rest on Saturday February 11, 2017 in Newfane, NY.
She was born in Lockport on May 8, 1929, the daughter of the late Elmer and Harriet Taylor Gunby. Helen enjoyed gardening and playing Bingo.
Mother of Terry Payne of Lockport. Sister of the late Kenneth, Cora, Ruth, Glenn, Louise, Carlton, Earl, Robert Edna, Nina and Howard. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Olcott Bible Church 5601 W. Lake Rd. Olcott, NY on SATURDAY February 18, 2017 from 11-12PM, where a Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Wrights Corners Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association 5488 Sheridan Dr. #300, Williamsville, NY 14221.
