TORONTO — Evander Kane put in another two-goal performance as the Buffalo Sabres beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-1 Saturday night.

Kane’s double gives him 18 goals on the season, The first came just 4:13 into the game, assisted by Jack Eichel — and Sam Reinhart. His second came at 18:02 of the first period, also assisted by Eichel — and Justin Falk. In between the two, Reinhart scored at 5:08, assisted by Eichel — and Kyle Okposo.

Mitchell Marner made it 3-1 towards the end of the second period, but that was all the Leafs could muster despite outshooting Buffalo 31-13 over the course of periods two and three.

The Sabres host the Vancouver Canucks at 7 p.m. Saturday at KeyBank Center.
