
NEWARK, N.J. — The New Jersey Devils bested the Buffalo Sabres 2-1 at the Prudential Center.
New Jersey scored both their goals on the power play, first at 8:46 of the first period when Adam Henrique scored from Michael Cammalleri and Pavel Zacha. Their second goal, the game winner, was scored at 12:33 of the third period by Zacha, assisted by Cammalleri.
Buffalo’s goal came at 8:39 of the third period when Kyle Okposo and Justin Falk assisted on Tyler Ennis’ third goal of the season.
The Sabres are now 21-21 and 10. They play four games over the next six days, starting with the San Jose Sharks Tuesday night.
