BUFFALO — They promise to “make you a pizza you can’t refuse.” Western New Yorkers seem to agree.
Wise Guys Pizza, 1965 Seneca St., took the most votes in the WNY’s Best Pizza category of the All WNY Awards, gunning down the other nominees from throughout Western New York. In fact, Wise Guys had more than twice as many votes as the second-place contender, a feat we’ve not seen before in previous awards categories, and even more impressive considering the sheer number of nominees in the category: 35. Posts to their Facebook page and blog surely didn’t hurt.
“We strive to make great food, provide it quick with the best customer service possible,” their website proclaims. “We feature a sweet Italian sauce as well as a Traditional sauce for those who prefer a less sweet sauce.”
Family owned and operated for over 25 years, they also offer 30 flavors of wings, fried chicken, chicken fingers, calzones, tacos, hoagies, subs, fish, and salads.
They’re open at 11 a.m. daily with an 11 p.m. closing time Sundays through Wednesdays and 2 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
