BUFFALO — Erie County Sheriff Timothy B. Howard reports Deputies arrested four individuals on narcotics charges following traffic stops over the weekend.

Thirty-five-year-old Michael Doyle of Youngstown was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after a Saturday evening traffic stop on Whitehaven Road on Grand Island. Doyle was reportedly found with a hypodermic needle and heroin during the stop. He was issued an appearance ticket.

Around 10 p.m. Sunday, 23-year-old Amzi Ethridge of Hunter was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and traffic violations following a stop on Stony Point Road on Grand Island. Etheridge was transported to the Erie County Holding Center pending her arraignment.

Two 26-year-old women were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop on Olean Road in Holland. Police say Steffan Sisson of Shinglehouse, Pa. was found with crack cocaine and heroin. Her passenger, Caitlyn Stein of Genesee was also reportedly found with crack cocaine.
