NIAGARA UNIV. — The Niagara University Department of Athletics will hold the second annual Purple Eagles Baseball First Pitch Dinner on Feb. 11 at The Conference and Event Center Niagara Falls.

The dinner will be a celebration of the past, present and future of Niagara baseball and will bring together alumni, friends, fans and the current members of the Purple Eagles baseball team and coaching staff.

“The Niagara players and coaches are extremely excited to announce our second annual First Pitch Dinner,” said head coach Rob McCoy. “Last year’s dinner was a tremendous success and we look for this year’s to be even better. Our First Pitch Dinner serves as an opportunity to involve the administration, parents, alumni and fans of Niagara University baseball in honoring and celebrating the current year’s team. It is open to all and we look forward to the event growing each and every year.”

The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a one hour, open-bar reception. A three-course plated dinner and the night’s programming with begin at 6 p.m. The program will include a presentation by student-athletes Geoff Seto and Julian Gallup, an introduction of the 2017 Niagara University baseball team, and a silent auction and basket raffle.

Attendance is $60 per plate or $550 for a Purple Table, which accommodates eight guests and two members of the 2017 Purple Eagles baseball team, and recognition in the sponsorship program.
