Albert W. Watson-Harvey, formerly of Lockport, NY, passed on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst, NY. He was born in Dundee, Scotland, on July 7, 1925, the son of the late Charles and Margaret [Ramsay] Harvey.

Mr. Harvey and his family moved to Niagara Falls, NY in the late 1920’s. He served with the US Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. After returning from the war, he became an iron worker, with Local #9 for many years before retiring. Mr. Harvey was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He had his pilot license and enjoyed flying his own plane, photography and most importantly, spending time with his family.

He was the husband of 54 years to the late Mildred G. [Nees] Watson-Harvey, who passed away in May of 2005. Mr. Harvey is survived by one son Albert W. (Mary Anne) Harvey, Jr., one daughter Lynda (late Joseph) Barber, a son in law Daniel Forster, seven grandchildren, Rachel (Daniel) Barber-Schwartz; Joseph (Michelle) Barber IV; Stephanie (Tony) Barber; Jeanette (Christopher) Jacobs, Ryan (Jesse) Harvey; Trey Minarcin; Jessica Harvey, six great grandchildren, one brother Frank (late Janet) Harvey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Wendy Forster and brother of the late Margaret (Dominick) Montanari.

His family will be present on Sunday from 4-8 PM at RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Matthew Kofahl officiating.
