TOWN OF LOCKPORT — A 52-year-old Lockport woman was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and speeding following a traffic stop on South Transit Road.
According to New York State Police, Rose Opera was stopped on for traveling 61 mph in a posted 45 mph speed zone. She was determined to be intoxicated and transported to SP Lockport where she was found to have a .15 percent blood alcohol content.
She was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Lockport Court at a later date.
