Nominations for the first All WNY Award of the 2017 season got underway on Sunday and saw 18 local restaurants and pizzerias nominated in the WNY’s Best Pizza category.
The nominees on the first day include:
- Imperial Pizza in Buffalo
- Leonardi’s Pizza in Amherst
- Pizza Oven in Lockport
- Lock City Pizza in Lockport
- Molinaros Ristorante in Lockport
- Mr. Pizza in Buffalo
- Avanti Pizza and Grill in Medina
- Wilson’s Pizza Shop in Newfane
- Great Lakes Pizza Co. in West Seneca
- Bella Pizza (multiple locations)
- Metro Pizza in Buffalo
- Allentown Pizza in Buffalo
- Tonys Pizza in Buffalo
- Buzzy’s Pizza in Niagara Falls
- Daddio’s Pizza in Buffalo
- Caforas Pizza and Pastaria in Newfane
- La Hacienda of New York in Niagara Falls
Nominations can be made in a variety of ways, including the form on this post, via a comment on this Facebook post, and via Twitter with the tag #AllWNYPizza. More than one nomination per person is allowed. We’ll collect nominations through 11:59 p.m. Saturday and begin voting on Sunday.
