KENNEDY — A 20-year-old Troy man was charged Thursday with unlawfully fleeing a police officer following pursuit on I-86.

According to New York State Police, Tristan Drake was clocked driving 109 mph in a 65 mph zone. Drake refused to pull over, continued east and exited the interstate at School House Road.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriffs assisted in the pursuit and Drake was eventually stopped in the Village of Randolph.  Drake was placed under arrest, processed at SP Jamestown and issued multiple traffic tickets. He was then arraigned in the Town of Poland Court, remanded to the Chautauqua County jail and is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Poland Court next month.
