FARMERSVILLE — A 60-year-old West Valley man was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle without an interlock device following a traffic stop on State Route 16.

According to New York State Police, Randall M. Thompson was pulled over for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Upon interviewing Thompson, Troopers determined that he was under the influence of alcohol and he was taken into custody without incident. Thompson was transported to SP Machias where he refused a breath test.

Thompson was arraigned in the Town of Farmersville Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail.
