BETHANY — A 33-year-old Pennsylvania woman was charged with third-degree grand larceny and first degree identity theft following an investigation into a Bethany resident’s missing money.
According to New York State Police, Sheri A. Eddy of Mocanaqua, Pa. was employed cleaning the complainants home when she stole a check from the residence and used the information on the check to steal over $5000.00.
Eddy was processed at SP Batavia, arraigned in the Town of Bethany Court, and remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $2500.
